Nauman Smith Sponsors York Workplace Discrimination Forum with Mayor Bracey and PA Human Relations Commission Chair Glassman
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The law firm Nauman Smith is sponsoring a special leadership forum on Preventing Workplace Discrimination Before it Starts, Tuesday, September 14, 2010, 2:00 - 4:00 PM, at The Yorktowne Hotel in downtown York, PA, according to an announcement by firm partner Attorney Benjamin C. Dunlap, Jr.
"We've assembled a very special panel of community and business leaders to address the topic of rising workplace discrimination claims," Dunlap said today. "Mayor C. Kim Bracey of the City of York, and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission Chairperson Stephen A. Glassman, will be part of the leadership panel to discuss the current state of work discrimination claims and provide strategies for preventing such claims before they arise in businesses of all size."
The panel will also include Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission Executive Director Homer C. Floyd and York Business Leader Ryan S. Sanders. "Employers will learn strategies to avoid discrimination complaints and how to deal with complaints when they have been filed," Dunlap said.
