(Harrisburg, PA) -- Suzanne S. Friday, Esq., Chairperson of the Nauman Smith Tax, Trusts & Estates practice group, has been elected Vice President for Finance of The Junior League of Harrisburg, Inc., an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership in educational and charitable endeavors.

Locally, the Junior League of Harrisburg, Inc. (JLH) was formed in 1929 and it has been at the forefront of identifying and fulfilling community needs ever since. JLH provided the area’s first childhood immunization awareness campaign, offered before such programs were federally mandated and funded. Additionally, JLH founded the Museum of Scientific Discovery in 1981, which is now part of the Whitaker Center, to provide educational science programs for children.
