(Harrisburg, Pa.) - J. Stephen Feinour, a partner in the Harrisburg-based law firm Nauman, Smith, Shissler and Hall, has been appointed to the board of directors for both the Allied Arts Fund and the Art Association of Harrisburg.

The Allied Arts Fund is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise both money and awareness for local arts and culture. In 2004, the Allied Arts Fund supported a total of 38 organizations that serve residents of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and northern York counties.

Founded in 1926, the Art Association of Harrisburg is an affiliate organization of the Allied Arts Fund that promotes and encourages the visual arts through art exhibitions and art education. The art association has provided a program of cultural excellence for the mid-state region, serving both the artists and the community through a wide variety of exhibitions and classes. The Art Association of Harrisburg is located in the historic Findlay Mansion on North Front Street in Harrisburg.
