Nauman Smith partners Craig J. Staudenmaier and J. Stephen Feinour have been named in the 24th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the practice of Commercial Litigation and Municipal Law, respectively. This is Craig’s fifth consecutive and Steve’s second consecutive year for receiving this recognition.

Craig concentrates his practice in the areas of state and federal litigation and Right-to-Know/media law. He routinely represents clients in all phases of the litigation process including mediation and arbitration, and devotes a principal portion of his practice to the representation of Class 1, regional and shortline railroads. Craig has represented clients before trial courts throughout Pennsylvania, and has successfully argued cases before the Commonwealth, Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, as well as the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. His work at the forefront of Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law has been widely recognized by the legal industry and the media.

Steve has extensive experience in municipal law and manages the firm’s municipal law practice. Serving as solicitor for local townships, boroughs and zoning hearing boards, he assists public officials grappling with the challenges constantly facing local governments in Pennsylvania. A member of the firm’s Right-To-Know Law practice group, Steve counsels municipalities and private entities on Right-To-Know matters. Steve’s practice also focuses on business and corporate law, real estate, land use planning and zoning law.
